(About NESE 2026)
Not a Conference. A Deal Room
The Nigeria Electrification Summit 2026 is the premier convening platform for Nigeria’s electricity transition — designed to turn conversations into commitments and introductions into mandates.
(NEW FOR 2026)
Nigeria's Power Sector Has Changed Fundamentally
The Electricity Act 2023 did something no previous reform managed: it genuinely devolved electricity regulation to the states. For the first time, each of Nigeria’s 36 states can generate, distribute, regulate, and price electricity independently. Eighteen have already passed their own electricity laws. Three are running fully independent markets.
This is not a future event. It is happening right now — and the organisations that position themselves in the first wave of these state markets will define who controls Nigerian energy for the next generation.
NESE 2026 is the room where that positioning happens. It is where the state governments that control the frameworks meet the investors who control the capital, the developers who control the execution, and the advisers who know how to structure the transactions between them.
Mission
Galvanize multi-sectoral resources — across finance, law, government, technology, and industry — to advance Nigeria’s Electricity Supply Industry toward national sufficiency and universal access.
Vision
An energy-sufficient Nigeria with universal electricity access, powered by a transparent, competitive, and investable market, driven by 36 active state markets working in parallel.
Convener
Pentagon Partners LP — Nigeria’s leading legal practice for energy transactions, regulatory compliance, and investment structuring.
(WHY ATTEND)
You Don’t Want to Be Outside This Room
01.
Get direct, in-room access to state energy commissioners and SERC chairs from all 36 states simultaneously — the decision-makers who control licensing, concessions, and market entry.
02.
Engage real investment conversations — 1:1 meetings pre-arranged by the secretariat between developers, DFIs, investors, and state governments.
03.
Be first to receive the Nigeria Electricity Transition Report 2026 — the definitive data and policy document on the sector, launched live at the Summit.
04.
Understand exactly which states are open for business, what frameworks exist, and what the market requires from private sector partners right now.
05.
Position your organisation as an early mover in state electricity markets that did not exist 18 months ago.
06.
Build relationships that generate mandates — past attendees have closed legal, financial, commercial, and advisory engagements originating from Summit conversations.
07.
Be in the room that shapes the narrative — the Summit’s Communiqué and Transition Report are cited by government, media, and investors as primary sector references.
